Requirements for obtaining FAA ATPL

ATPL (abbr. English. Airline Transport Pilot License) - License pilot transport aircraft, a Russian analogue - evidence of line pilot. The license allows pilots to fly airplanes weighing over 5,700 pounds.

To obtain FAA ATPL year license is required:

     More than 1,500 flight hours
     Over 100 hours of flight instrument (Instrument Flight Rules)
     Over 500 hours of flight route (between airports)
     Over 75 hours of night flight
     The theoretical exam and a check-ride (check-ride)
